Friday Night Sound Waves
Come slide off your shoes and slip into the weekend every Friday night (January – June) at the free beachside concert sponsored in major part by the Fort Lauderdale Beach Business community. Featuring some of South Florida and the region’s best musical talents, performing an eclectic range of genres, Friday Night Sound Waves entertains area locals and global visitors, from the young to the young-at-heart.

Whether the need for live music hits you on a Tuesday at 11am or Sunday at 7pm – here’s where you can get your live music fix 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Slip in for a cocktail at the bar or dinner at Fort Lauderdale Beach’s newest Mediterranean eatery, which perfectly balances authentic flavors, warm hospitality and some of the best live music and dancing on the oceanside patio from 7pm – 10pm nightly.
Elbo Room, Fort Lauderdale Beach
Immortalized in 1956 when it was featured in the blockbuster hit “Where the Boy’s Are?”, The Elbo Room is one of those historic spots (it opened in 1938) which just gets better with age, and each time you visit. Featuring live music from open to close, 7 days a week, this beachside bar is a guaranteed good time and place to stop for a morning, afternoon, or evening drink by the beach.
Spazio Italian Restaurant & Wine Lounge
Casual for breakfast at sunrise, buzzing at lunch with the sun at full glow, romantic at sunset for dinner; Spazio comes alive at night with an eclectic mix of live entertainment nightly from 7pm – 10pm, and people watching ’til dawn.
Lulu’s Bait Shack
Founded on Cajun Cuisine and Mardi Gras morals, Lulu’s not only brings the best of the bayou to Ft. Lauderdale Beach – but also a stellar line up of live entertainment every Thursday – Saturday night from 9pm – 1am and Sunday from 1 pm – 5pm.
Stop by Bahia Mar for Bahia Nights every Friday night, featuring live music on Breezes Patio by local acoustic artists. Enjoy great music, atmosphere and drink specials from 7 – 10 PM. Make a return visit to the High Tide Lounge on the Waves Pool Deck for Steel Drum Sundays. Locals and guests can kick back, relax and enjoy the sounds of our guest Steel Drummer from Noon – 3pm. Sunday Funday is here so grab a drink & food poolside, listen to the Caribbean beats and enjoy the marina views.
Sea Level Restaurant & Ocean Bar
Perched on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, Sea Level serves up the region’s freshest seafood, choice cuts of meat and high-quality produce to appeal to every palate, and a well-curated line up of the area’s most accomplished singer/songwriters performing every Friday and Saturday from 4-8pm.

McSorley’s is an Irish Bar with a serious twist, featuring a Beach Pub and Game Room on the main level and a rooftop Sun Deck not to be missed. DJ’s take center stage Thursday night from 8pm – 1am for the weekly “Off The Wall” party – where you pick the music to program the night, while Saturday’s take you on a Flash Back to the 80’s from 8pm – 2am, during their fabulous, ‘Neon Nights.”
