Shauna Sweeney

Friday, May 10 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm

“We had a wonderful time performing at FNSW last year – the beautiful scenery, the excited vibes from the crowd, all the sponsors and everyone involved in the series came together to create a top-notch event. We are thrilled to be asked to participate again this season! ” ~ Shauna

Young Trees is an indie rock/pop music project created in 2017 by singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Shauna Sweeney. After performing thousands of shows across the Eastern U.S., Canada and the Bahamas, sharing stages with major bands and releasing three EPs as a solo artist, Sweeney wrote the four songs that would become Young Trees’ debut EP, Supposed to Be (released on Aug 23, 2017). The songs were recorded and co-produced by Sweeney along with guitarist Ryan Haire, bassist Chris Bonelli, and drummers Dominic Ditmyer and Joseph Salamida.

With flowing rhythms, masterful guitars and earnest, powerful vocals, these songs are a journey through themes of passion, memory, soul-searching and adventure.

Our 4-song EP “Supposed To Be” is currently available on Spotify and iTunes, and we are in the process of booking shows for 2018, and working on new songs!
