“Reggae music makes people feel Irie. We want people to feel good and we bring those good vibes with music. FNSW is offering locals and visitors opportunity to experience the best live music in South Florida and we are thrilled to be part of that. Just close your eyes, move from side to side and pretend you are in the islands. One Love!” – Big Harvest
Big Harvest, features Pierre and Strings formerly with South Florida’s favorite Reggae band Fourth Dimension.
Big Harvest is an upbeat feel good reggae experience. The music features Marley style authentic roots rock reggae, bi-lingual English-Spanish reggae flavors, soulful guitar riffs, festive instrumentation (at times augmented by live horns). Pierre and Strings are passionate about music and they believe music can make the world a better place.
As Fourth Dimension they were dubbed “reggae legends” by the Miami Herald. They toured across Canada, the U.S.A and shared the stage with artists such as Snoop Dogg, Matisyahu and SOJA. Fourth Dimension’s last album was produced by Karl Pitterson, the legend who recorded and mixed Time Magazine’s “The Best Album of the 20th Century”, Bob Marley and The Wailer’s Exodus Album. Karl’s credits include: The Rolling Stones, Peter Tosh, Steel Pulse, Burning Spear, Jimmy Cliff).
Pierre & Strings’ last collaborations before shifting into Big Harvest included works with Inner Circle, Snow (Informer) and Mykal Rose (Black Uhuru).
Big Harvest is comprised of Pierre Arnau on vocals/keyboards, Carlos “Strings” Calderon on vocals/guitar, Akil Karam on bass guitar, Junior on drums and at times David Zeidell on the trumpet and Coco Roots on Hammond organ.
Its a new season and now Big Harvest is ready to reggae rock the session!
Bringing a fresh and energizing new reggae sound that is sure to make you feel irie.
